Greetings to all of you! We are looking forward with great anticipation to our second Grand Reunion at the Kappa House with our Gamma O sisters. The last one was great - and we hope this one will be even better! Please read through and note that we need to receive your completed registration form with check no later than June 1st, 2008. We've targeted our mailing list to initiation years from 1967-1975, but would like to extend an invitation and encourage any and all Kappas to come and join us. Please pass the word and let us know if you need additional forms to be sent. Here are the exciting details!
We've reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2229 Grand Avenue, 307.745.5500, www.laramie.stayhgi.com or www.uwconferencecenter.com. They are reserved under "Kappa Reunion" and you must make your reservations by May 20, 2008 in order to get the $119 single/double occupancy per night. In addition there are several new hotels in Laramie including AmericInn 888.205.0958, Hampton Inn 307.742.0125, and Holiday Inn 307.721.9000.
The Gamma Omicron House Board has graciously allowed us to use the House for our Reunion. There are about 50 beds that are on a "first reserved" basis. Feel free to contact a friend to share a room at either the House or your hotel of choice.
Please Bring: Pictures from college days, family photos and other fun memories or memorabilia from your UW days! A mitt if you plan on playing softball, and a pillow if you're staying at the house and are able to bring one. Don't forget your Badge (Key)!
Important: Even though we're all mature adults now (?), the liability issues still abide. The House insurance doesn't allow alcohol use, smoking or candles.
New This Year: There will be a "Kappa Shopping Korner" at the House on Saturday. Anyone interested in participating as a vendor should let us know on the enclosed Registration Form.
